About Dallas

Dallas Wedel grew up in rural Kansas where horses were used for cattle work and 4-H. Following college, he held several professional positions including working for a world renowned life and motivational coach. In the late 1990s, he realized the natural ability he had working with horses could be coupled very effectively with his business and coaching skills, thus he turned his focus to becoming a full-time trainer.

Dallas’ training career was launched in ’98 when he began learning from a natural horsewoman who provided him with the foundation he still uses today. He then apprenticed with several outstanding horse trainers ending with Andrea Fappani, which brought him to Arizona.
Since then, his program has become highly recognized and competitive in the regional circuit and now comprises several horses in a very busy show barn focusing on reining. Both he and his  students have realized great success in the reining show circuit.
